ONEKAMA – The Portage Lake Association will host their last concert of 2021 next week.

The event will feature the Feral Cats, with Phil “Harmonicas” Coryell on harmonica and Monte Klein on guitar.

“Enjoy the rhythmic dynamics of their musical styles tinged with elements of bluegrass, ragtime, waltz, folk and blues,” a statement read. “The Cats have performed throughout the region, delighting audiences with their ‘authentic’ style of rhythm and blues.”

The concert is free and will take place Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Onekama Village Park on M-22. Participants are encouraged to bring a blanket, lawn chairs, picnic baskets, family and friends. The alternative place of rain is the Onekama Consolidated School.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will take place in the Onekama Consolidated Schools Auditorium. Watch for announcements on the “1, -Onekama” Facebook page or on the Portage Lake Association website.
