  2. A Downtown shooting Atlanta Police Believe may have been targeted resulted in the death of a man. Police say the shooting occurred near 501 avenue du Piémont. before 8:45 p.m. on Friday. Agents responded to Emory Hospital after a call from a shot dead person. The man died of his injuries and homicide investigators are gathering information as they attempt to locate a suspect.   3. A serial commercial burglar suspected of burglaries at 17 Atlanta businesses has recently been stopped by Atlanta Police. After opening an investigation into burglaries in several local businesses almost a month earlier, DPA officers and members of Motor Crime Unit arrested one suspect November 3, which is investigating soon linked to other crimes in Atlanta. “We are convinced that this arrest has prevented break-ins from other businesses in the city,” the APD noted on his Facebook page. “We couldn’t be more proud of all the officers and investigators involved in holding this uncontrollable serial burglary suspect to account for his crimes.” (11Alive.com WXIA)
  4. It took 26 years for the Atlanta Braves get another one World events to win. But, according to some fans in Atlanta, the the parade celebrating the victory ended in minutes. The parade started at noon on Friday as the team got off by bus Fisherman’s Street, in the direction of Cobb County and on Battery. But, once the festivities have started, many Atlanta revelers which had waited hours in the cold said they were disappointed to be rewarded with just seconds to watch their the hometown champions rush past.
