Hot Topic Veeps Mental Notes Live

Hot topic announced its partnership with Veep put on a virtual advantage for Mental health America. The event will raise funds in honour of World Mental Health Day.

The concert, hosted by My chemical romance‘s Mikey Way, kicks off on October 10 at 3 p.m. EST. The event will be broadcast live on the Veeps platform.

The Hot topic foundation has supported mental health and music education programs since 2004. In addition to Mental Health America, it has partnered with nonprofit organizations such as Little Children’s Rock and Notes for Notes. Since its inception, the foundation has donated $ 20 million to nonprofit organizations.

This year’s concert will be hosted by Way and will feature a number of artists such as nothing, nowhere., DE’WAYNE, Meet me at the altar, Pom Pom Squad and more. Also in the programming is recent star of alternative press coverage Eyedress.

From the event, President and CEO of MHA Paul Gionfriddo says the concert is designed to help connect people to much-needed mental health resources.

“The pandemic, and everything that followed, had a significant impact on people’s mental health,” Gionfriddo said. “The key to maintaining mental health is understanding the signs and taking action early to prevent a seizure. The Mental Notes concert will help put much-needed mental health resources into the hands of people who find Hot Topic a safe space and who may need mental health support. We are grateful to be a partner in this effort.
