OSF Saint Anthony chief physician among the people to know in 2021

ROCKFORD – Stephen Bartlett, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center, was recently named one of the People to Know in 2021 by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce.

The people you should know are admired for their hard work, drive, dedication and commitment. They are business people who work hard every day in the community of Rockford. Bartlett joined OSF HealthCare in 2019 and, in addition to his administrative duties, he still provides patient care as a surgeon.

People You Should Know started in 2011 and, including that year’s class, has honored 145 leaders since then. This year’s class is made up of men and women representing a variety of industries including healthcare, government, nonprofits, finance, education, and professional services.

Weichert, real estate agents – Tovar Properties is hiring an associate broker

ROCKFORD – Real Estate Broker Weichert, Realtors – Tovar Properties recently hired broker partner Angel Rivera to their team.

Rivera is a member of the Rock-Green Realtors Association of Wisconsin and is fluent in English and Spanish.

United Way appoints its President and CEO

ROCKFORD – United Way of Rock River Valley has announced that its Board of Directors has hired Julie Bosma as President and CEO.

Bosma succeeds Paul Logli, who retires on June 30 after 13 years at the head of the organization.

Most recently, Bosma was the Executive Director of RAMP Inc. During her tenure, Bosma increased annual revenues from $ 300,000 to $ 2 million, created an endowment of $ 1 million during the 2008 recession, launched programs Helping Hundreds of Teens and Adults Meet Their Employment Goals; and Developed Disability Awareness Programs Serving Kindergarten to Grade 12 students. While at the helm, RAMP was credited with being one of the first centers in the state to advocate for and receive funding to reintegrate people with disabilities living in institutions into their home communities each year. , resulting in savings of several million dollars for the state.

Bosma is well known in the community and has been recognized by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as one of the 20 People You Should Know and Manager of the Year. While at RAMP, the organization received the Rockford Register Star Excelsior Award.

Bosma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication / Public Relations from the University of Valparaiso and a Masters of Public Administration from Northern Illinois University.

Bosma will assume the role of President and CEO on June 28.

Illinois Department of AMVETS elects local commander

ROCHELLE – Jean Henning de Rochelle has been elected commander of the Illinois AMVETS department.

Henning is an Army veteran. She is the third woman to be elected Commander of the Illinois AMVETS.

Henning has been with AMVETS since 1999. She is a life member of Post 922, Rockford. She previously served two terms as 1st Vice-Commander from 2019 to 21, 2nd Vice-Commander for Department and District 2 as an Officer. At post 922, she served as a warrant officer and commanding officer.

Henning is the daughter and granddaughter of veterans, and her husband is a Desert Storm veteran.

This year, Henning will be traveling statewide to encourage veterans to join AMVETS and continue their mission as “Veterans Helping Veterans”.

Titan is an authorized distributor of Okamoto machinery, products and services, headquartered at Lake Zurich with locations in Florida and North Carolina. The purchase will better meet the growing needs of All World Machinery Supply’s customers in North America.
